JAMIE colonna
Jamie is an award winning Global creative director with 25 years experience.
He has worked with a number of blue chip clients on a wide range of Global and Pan European accounts.
Studying at St Martins School of Art, he started his advertising career at Bartle, Bogle, Hegarty, working on accounts including Levi’s, Haagen-Dazs, Sky, launching Virgin radio, Liberty, Audi and Sony.
Jamie joined Publicis in 1996, working across a variety of accounts including for Guinness, Harp and Kilkenny beers; ‘Size Matters’ for Renault Clio responsible for introducing ‘Va Va Voom’ into the Oxford English dictionary; Muller; the BBC; the RSPB; Mc Vities and launching Ericsson 3G Globally.
In 1999 he also became Creative Director, Art and Acquisitions Editor for Westzone, an art book publishing house. It was here he launched the brand and over a dozen titles at the London Imax and was responsible for managing it through a host of multi-media channels.
In June 2001 Jamie set up Spine, an independent art publishing house distributed through Faber, then Worldwide by Thames & Hudson. it was there he produced amongst others ,‘The Beatles, The True Beginnings’ with Pete Best, and Malcolm Venvilles ‘Layers ‘
He returned to Publicis in 2003 as Worldwide Creative Director on UBS originating and launching ‘You & Us’ Globally and ‘Choose wisely’ a successful re-pitch for Fidelity International.
He joined Fuel Worldwide in 2006 Creatively Directing on Volvo and the Magnum Photographic Agency
In 2007, moving to the parent company, Euro RSCG London, where he was responsible for launching Edf energy’s ‘Recycled’ campaign as well as working on News Internationals ‘The Sun’, Peugeot, Citroen, Weight Watchers , Evian, VO5 and 3 communications.
2009 saw him appointed Global Creative Director on the newly appointed Credit Suisse account which he was instrumental in leading and securing as well as pitching and then running the Conservatives for the successful General Election campaign.
He then co founded Yourbrand2 to work on projects ranging from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to AWI, Australian Wool Innovation and the Carol Stone foundation.
He was appointed Chief Creative Officer of INNOCEAN Worldwide in 2012 running both Hyundai Motor Corporation and Kia Motors in 28 markets across Europe launching every model in every medium. He successfully led, pitched and won Kia globally in 2013. He was then invited to join The Global Creative Council responsible for North America and Canada, China, India, South Korea and Australia.
From 2015, he has been running his own creative consultancy, continuing his publishing with projects for Pret a Manger, Aalberts and Kambi
In 2020 he co-founded the Ultimate Space company. In 2024 he co-founded ‘Heroes’
Jamie is married and has two sons and a daughter living just outside Brighton
